Are you one of our Tiny Tims?

We are looking for a child aged 9+ (and under 4’6”) to play one of our Tiny Tims in the 2022/2023 revival of the Tony-winning A Christmas Carol. Please note that this one role will be shared between four children. In this production, the role of Tiny Tim is played by a disabled child so applicants without a disability will not be considered. Please note that any access requirements will be discussed at point of submission. Tiny Tim is nine years old and has the extraordinary power to melt Scrooge’s (and the audience’s) heart.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be available for rehearsals and performances from Monday 03 October 2022 to Saturday 07 January 2023 inclusive. It would be preferable if they were to reside within an hour’s commute of The Old Vic.

Audition workshops will take place across various dates — please apply as soon as possible. Please also share this with anyone who might know suitable children for this exciting project.

HOW TO APPLY

To apply, complete a written application form or send a video application (max. 3 minutes) to tinytimssubmissions@oldvictheatre.com. In the video, you must include the child’s name, the name and contact details of a parent or guardian and a little information about the child and their interests. Please specify at point of application if the child has any access needs that we need to be aware of in order to facilitate an audition. You will also need to attach a recent photo of the child.
